I like your concept of solar cells as a do it yourself project I am an inventor and the cell can be fashioned as an isosceles triangle which becomes a pyramid. By connecting the base to the base of an inverted pyramid it becomes an octahedron.
The full surface area could be a graphene solar cell. The dipyramidal shape would be a "Cavity Resonator" which can house a graphene super capacitor.
As I speak I am getting the redesign for a solar panel as an alternative to a flat silicon solar cell.
We need to collaborate and bring to industry and consumers the need for this material that is flexible and cost effective .
